This is an extremley well known portrait by Gainsborough called "Gorgiana Dutchess of Devonshire."

    Was there something about our time that influenced this? This painting could have a very deep meaning. Did the ruler of your time or government or economy influence this portrait somehow? Id like some feedback!

    Well, during our time period, every person of the upper class needed to have a portrait of themselves in their home. It showed off their wealth and their importance.

    Your art is lovely! I notice you use a lot of dark colors such as green in your art. Any particular reason for that?
